System Administrator

ZOG Inc is a leading Montgomery County  IT Systems Integrator. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our growing organization. This individual will provide state of the art IT services and solutions to our clients. 

 

The successful candidate will assume the role of an on-site network administrator for a variety of local clients. This full time position requires excellent communication skills and the ability resolve problems independently and in conjunction with third party vendors. 

Responsibilities include the administration of all aspects of business networks, including configuring and maintaining file and application servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and related network devices and applications.
 

Technical Requirements:
 

• Microsoft Windows 2003 Server and Active Directory
 
• Microsoft Exchange, SQL and Sharepoint
 
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP and LAN/WAN design
 
• Server upgrade, migration and disaster recovery procedures
 
• Cisco router, PIX firewall and VPN Security Appliances
 
• Veritas Backup Exec backup solutions
 
• Symantec Antivirus solutions
 
• MCSE and/or MCP a plus
 
• Cisco certifications a plus
 

Required Experience:
 

• Minimum 5 years of professional IT experience in the areas listed above
 
• Excellent communication and people skills
 
• Ability to multi-task and work independently
 
• Detail oriented and organized
 
• Strong documentation skills using Visio, PowerPoint, etc.
